The Indianapolis Colts signed veteran wide receiver Breshad Perriman after his previous workout with the team. Perriman at 6’2 , 215 pounds was a late first round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2015 NFL Draft. Perriman does bring 9 years of experience to the Colts WR room. He previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers having 20 receptions and a total of 277 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
Perriman comes to the Colts with some injury concerns as he hasn’t been healthy pretty much his entire career. He’s had short stints with multiple teams, which includes the Browns and Jets. His best season came in 2019 playing for the Bucs, the first stint with the team. He had 36 receptions for 645 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Colts are led by WR Michael Pittman, who is dealing with a hip injury and second-year WR Alec Pierce with likes of Ashton Dulin and Isaiah McKenzie. They also drafted Josh Downs out of North Carolina in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. He’s currently sidelined with a knee injury. If Breshad Perriman makes the 53-man roster, the Colts are expecting him to stretch the field with his speed as he once ran a 4.25 at the NFL Combine.
